Daily Practice
Updated: Dec 3, 2022
This is what my routine daily practice looks like. I wanted to share it with you, as you might find it as rewarding, grounding, and fulfilling as I do.
I begin each morning with the 5 Reiki principles to remind me that every day is a new beginning and a new opportunity to practice. We’re not always going to get it right and that’s ok. Today is another chance to learn and to grow. When I first started this practice, I printed out the principles and put it in my car so I could recite it on my way to work every day (which I found to be the perfect time because people can be challenging lol).
I then follow that with a gratitude practice to remind me of all the blessings in my life that are easily taken for granted. Sometimes my practice is as simple as giving thanks to Mother Earth and the air I’m breathing in, or being grateful I can hear music and sing along (others might not be grateful they can hear at that particular moment but whatever, I have the voice of an angel haha).
I invite you to give both of these daily practices a try and see what opens up for you. Today, give yourself love, give yourself grace, and trust you are exactly where you are meant to be.
5 Reiki Principles:
Just for today, I will not worry
Just for today, I will not be angry
Just for today, I will do my work honestly
Just for today, I am grateful for all my blessings
Just for today, I will be kind to all living things
