New Moon March

Approaching Monday’s Equinox and Tuesday’s Aries new moon, the energies are extreme! We’re preparing for a massive rebirth next week, signified by three game-changing cosmic events within a four-day period – Equinox + new moon + Pluto changing signs. This is a profound moment of transition, in our personal lives and in the life of the collective, and there is A LOT to process.

The New Moon in Aries at 0 degrees happening on March 21st, is the first of the astrological New Year, which always packs a powerful Aries punch, and this New Moon is no exception! On March 20-21st, at the same time as the Equinox, the Sun moves into the tropical zodiac of Aries. Aries Season is a time that ushers in and builds confidence, drive, and determination to get things moving forward in our lives. Being the very first sign in the zodiac, Aries represents birth, initiation, leadership, and the pioneering spirit, which makes it easy to see why the Aries new moon is considered the most fruitful for new beginnings.

With so much powerful energy surrounding this New Moon, our courage and life force are continuing to grow, as we come out of the fog of Pisces Season. This is a time to make firm intentions rooted in our truest desires. Being that this New Moon is at zero degrees indicating a pure fresh new beginning with our consciousness around our willpower, identity, individualization, and courage, also known as the ARIES DEGREE when it occurs in a cardinal sign. The universe is throwing a new lifeline in this direction, a clean slate, so to speak, to explore other totally new and fascinating breakthroughs. In a few days after this lunation, Pluto enters Aquarius. Pluto represents transformation, death, and rebirth. We are crossing over into new realms looking over our shoulders at life before this moment and now casting our sights on what life can be. We have the opportunity to go through a purification of an old era and regenerate towards building better, more sustainable structures in our lives. We’re being challenged to feel what we’ve repressed or denied, and purge what’s no longer in alignment with our divine mission.

This moon will pick up on our dreams and ideas being close to Neptune and Mercury and are now able to take action and seize new opportunities. Mars the ruler of this Moon is in a square causing impatience to act now or never. This is emotionally charged and highly ambitious energy! Mars is now gaining power, having just emerged from its 6-month retrograde cycle. Our motivation, passion, vitality, and sense of direction are coming back online, after a period of deep reflection and reconnecting with our soul’s longings. We may feel frustrated and done with whatever is holding us back from what we want.

This new moon will be the boldest manifestation of the year and a major catalyst for acting on the insights and wisdom we’ve gained over the past six months and launching powerful new life directions.
